On August 26th, 2017, Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times celebrated 35 years of service by welcoming more than 350 graduate, alumni and current campers, volunteers, staff, and supporters to our beautiful Mountain Center campsite.

Guests were greeted by two of their favorites, Nurse Fran Wiley and Shirley "Mom" Brown. We also heard from longtime volunteer and former Camp Board Chair Ed Lodgen, Camp Founder Dr. Stu Siegel, and Brian Crater, Associate Executive Director, sharing many of our 35 years of Camp’s Firsts and Milestones.

The day was filled with games, tours of the renovated site, and opportunities to go down memory lane with old photos and Camp Yearbooks in Roosevelt Hall. A highlight of the day was taking group pictures by decade to mark the occasion. The best part of the day was watching longtime friends reconnect and reliving decades of Magic Camp Memories with each other. There were embraces, tears, and such a palpable feeling of love and gratitude shared all day long.
