Introducing #LegacyofLove: Celebrating 45 Years of Supporting Families
As we honor 44 remarkable years of dedication at the Los Angeles Ronald McDonald House, we reflect with both pride and a renewed commitment to supporting even more families in the future. This year, our team will help over 400 families, striving to make each stay as comfortable and supportive as possible. Our mission is to ensure that every family feels the care they deserve, not just during their time at the House, but in the days and years beyond. We’re also thrilled to unveil our new 45th Anniversary logo, a symbol of our enduring legacy and the countless families and volunteers who have passed through our doors. This new design captures the heart and history of our mission, honoring all who have come together in support of children battling illness. Thanks to the legacy started by our founders, Dr. Stu Siegel, Julius Ratner, and McDonald's Owner/Operators Clay Paschen, Fred Frederic, and the support of our community, we are excited for the future. We are focusing on how we can better serve more families with a home away from home and the resources to help ensure the best possible health outcomes for their child. This year, we’re proud to have a Licensed Medical Social Worker leading our family program initiatives. This role strengthens our ability to provide case management and essential support to our most vulnerable families, from health referrals and nutritional support to immigration assistance and transition planning for long-term housing. Alongside our Family Support Services team who provide therapeutic resources, we’re able to offer families the comfort, guidance, and stability they need during challenging times. Save the Date: September 14, 2025! On this special day, we’ll be celebrating our 45th anniversary with the 3rd Annual "There’s No Place Like Home" Gala, a heartwarming evening that promises to be both a tribute to those who started it all and a glimpse into the future. Stay tuned over the coming year as we share inspiring updates, heartfelt tributes, and fun facts celebrating the 45-year journey of the Los Angeles Ronald McDonald House. Together, we can continue our #LegacyofLove, reaching even more families and making a lasting difference.
