Volunteer Information for LARMH Corporate Groups

Many socially conscience companies encourage and allow employees to use working hours to make a difference- why not spend your valuable time with the Los Angeles Ronald McDonald House?

Volunteer work provides companies and employees with hands-on perspective on the good they can accomplish through corporate citizenship, and allows employees to come together for team building.  Join us with your team for a day of volunteerism and assist with cooking meals for families, leading activities or House events, or facilitating service projects to help with maintenance and housekeeping around the property. See below for ways to get your group involved.

Did you know many companies offer “Dollar for Doer” or matching time programs? This is where your generous time is matched by a grant from your organization, so you’ll be doing double the good! Inquire on your company’s policy with your Human Recourses or Social Responsibility representative. Los Angeles Ronald McDonald House Tax Id- 95-3167869.

Meal of Love

Meals of Love is a program hosted by Los Angeles Ronald McDonald House (LARMH) to offer free, freshly prepared food to our guest families. Groups reserve a day and mealtime, plan their menu, purchase ingredients, and come to cook a meal in one of our communal kitchens. These meals provide an incredible gift to our families – a day off from cooking, a comforting meal to come home to, and most importantly, more time spent focusing on their loved ones.

Qualifications: We supply the kitchen and equipment, your group just needs to bring the ingredients and disposable serve ware. All food must be prepared and cooked on-site or brought directly from a commercial retail kitchen. Age 15+ with chaperone. Maximum of 12 volunteers, including chaperones. All volunteers must provide proof of vaccination.  Please view our Guidelines sheet for instructions regarding scheduling and hosting a Meal of Love onsite.
