Team Movers & Shakers

While we couldn’t be together in-person this year, the Long Beach community still came together virtually for our 10th Annual Walk for Kids. Together we raised more than $150,000 benefiting the Long Beach Ronald McDonald House.

Walk Weekend started on Saturday, April 24th, when we hosted a Long Beach Virtual Celebration and Teams Drive-Thru Spirit Parade. Hosted by previous LBRMH family member, Brad Crihfield, our Long Beach walkers and supporters enjoyed a fun and interactive 90mins production on Facebook Live celebrating not only Walk for Kids, but also the 10th Anniversary of the Long Beach Ronald McDonald House. In addition, teams got to enjoy driving by the LBRMH and under our balloon arch finish line so we could celebrate together in a safe, socially distanced way.

Celebrations continued the morning of Sunday, April 25th, when all RMHCSC programs came together on Facebook and YouTube to celebrate our success as a Chapter.

Congratulations to our LBRMH prize winners:

  • Top individual fundraiser – Jill Rosenberg
  • Top fundraising team – Movers & Shakers
  • Most spirited team – Team Big Mac Attack
