An Important Update to the Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Southern California (RMHCSC) Community Grants Program:

The Community Grants Program Has Formally Closed

Thank you for your interest

Over the past 30 years, RMHCSC has remained committed to supporting local organizations that share its mission to improve the lives of children and families throughout Southern California. RMHCSC, in partnership with local McDonald's operators, has invested more than $26 million in funding through its Community Grants Program to more than 1,000 nonprofits to extend its reach and impact across the region.

At a global level, Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC) is in a time of tremendous growth, with opportunities to further its impact on families around the world. After careful consideration, RMHC Global has made the decision to focus resources on its core mission: ensuring families with sick children are able to stay together and near the care and resources they need, when they need it most. The funding previously used for grants will be reallocated to the core RMHC programs - the Ronald McDonald House®, Ronald McDonald Family Room® and Ronald McDonald Care Mobile®. As such, there will no longer be a Community Grants Program.

While this shift means that RMHCSC and Southern California McDonald's support of organizations in our communities will evolve, we remain committed as ever to making a direct, positive impact on children and families throughout our region.

We thank you for your interest and understanding.
