  • Who can use a Ronald McDonald Family Room?

    Any family of a child receiving treatment at CHOC at Mission is eligible to use the Ronald McDonald Family Room facilities.

  • Where are your Ronald McDonald Family Rooms?

    Our second Ronald McDonald Family Room is located inside of CHOC Children’s at Mission in the city of Mission Viejo, California.  This Room extends our services to South Orange County and services any family with a child on the 5th floor of Mission Hospital.

    Our second Ronald McDonald Family Room is located inside of CHOC Children’s in the city of Orange, California.  This Ronald McDonald Family Room is located on the sixth floor of CHOC, close to the PICU and CVICU.

  • What services does a Ronald McDonald Family Room provide?

    Ronald McDonald Family Rooms provide various services and amenities depending on many factors, including the size of the space available within the hospital and the number of families served.

    Services and amenities provided by the Ronald McDonald Family Room at CHOC at Mission include:
    • A kitchenette stocked with snacks and coffee
    • Living room with a TV
    • Internet access
    • Reference books
    • A seating area with a television
    • Two sleep rooms for overnight sleeping or daytime napping

  • Who operates Ronald McDonald Family Rooms?

    The Ronald McDonald Family Rooms in Mission Viejo is operated by the Orange County Ronald McDonald House program, as part of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern California. The Orange County Ronald McDonald House is responsible to its own Board of Trustees.
