Pull for the Bakersfield Ronald McDonald House!
Pull tabs are high-quality, pure aluminum and more valuable than the entire can. Grab a group and help offset some of the costs for the Bakersfield Ronald McDonald House by collecting and donating tabs.
How to get it going:
- Gather a group in your school, church, work and collect the pull tabs from any aluminum can. Store them in coffee cans, baggies or other small containers. No milk jugs, please. You can also drop by and pick up cardboard collection houses to place around your office. We offer up to five small cardboard houses for free, and charge $0.25 for each additional houses. Each small house can hold up to 850 pull tabs. Need something larger? We offer two of our large cardboard collection houses for free, and charge $1.50 for each additional house. These large houses can hold between 18-20 pounds of pull tabs.
- Display a poster to encourage people to collect.
- Take your tabs to your local recycling center and have them make the check out to Bakersfield Ronald McDonald House. You are also welcome to drop them off at the Bakersfield Ronald McDonald House, which is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
