Child Getting Dental Work

Healthy Smiles for Kids of Orange County is dedicated to enabling and empowering all children to lead healthy and happy lives.

With this, the mission is to reduce oral disease through collaborative programs aimed at disease prevention, oral health education, access to treatment and advocacy. The Santa Ana-based nonprofit believes every child should have access to oral health care. RMHCSC is supporting those efforts by awarding a $10,000 grant to support their Oral Health Prevention and Education Program. The program provides school-based oral health prevention (i.e. screenings, fluoride varnish) and education to 30,000 children through two ‘Smile Mobile,’ RV units, two-chair clinics serving 60 schools.
